Over the past years, we have increasingly dedicated ourselves to combining historical beauty with modern technology and design, without altering the original condition.
For example, in the restoration of signal lights from interlocking systems of the GERMAN REICHSBAHN dating from 1925–1956, when points, signal boxes, and tracks were still operated mechanically. Comparable to so-called “barn finds” of classic cars, we focus on the restoration and refurbishment of historical signal lights from an era when steam locomotives were still in operation.
Combined with the reconstruction of the original condition of such historically valuable signal lights and a matching extraordinary design using equally interesting materials such as glass, steel, and leather, we preserve not only cultural assets of inestimable value, but also objects that, alongside their beauty, retain their authenticity.
For many years, Noack Design has not only been involved in object designs or prototype creation of visual furniture concepts but also in the creation of aesthetically pleasing living interiors, such as tables, lamps, and furniture made of glass, steel, and wood. Each object remains a unique piece, handcrafted to perfection.
Through our strong connections and close collaboration with well-known wood importers, producers, and exporters from West Africa, the USA, Asia, Europe, as well as South and Central America, we guarantee the FSC-certified origin of our woods, along with their limited further processing.
In our wood workshop, each piece is handcrafted with precision and passion. A tree trunk, sometimes over 7,000 years old, is transformed into a unique work of art that is not only aesthetic but also functional.

Erna Schneider has been dedicated to the arts since her youth and has performed as a singer in renowned venues worldwide. Today, she ensures smooth operations for administrative tasks within Noack Design and plays a major role in the aesthetic and creative design of many objects.
